JAIIB AND CAIIB PROGRAMMES OFFERED BY IIBF

IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking and Finance), previously known as Indian Institution of Bankers (IIB), is a professional institution consisting of financial institutes, banks, and its employees. They have memberships from about 776 banks and have a total of 777566 members in the institution it has marked as the biggest institution in the world of its kind.

IIBF promotes the growth of better and efficient employees in the banking and finance industry; they help mould finance professionals and bankers competent to provide first-class services in the industry. For this, they offer education and training for all the aspirants in the institution.

IIBF has two main flagship courses;

JAIIB (Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers)

CAIIB (Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers)

JAIIB is an examination for the post of Junior Associate.

Only those who are already working in the banking and finance industry can apply for this. This examination's primary purpose is to provide a basic but comprehensive and latest knowledge required for everyday tasks and management.

CAIIB is also an examination for the professionals in the banking and finance industry.

Only an employee in the industry who has already cleared the JAIIB examination is eligible to write this examination. CAIIB imparts knowledge in a more full-fledged manner by training them to deal with a dynamic environment, risk management, and general bank management.

Both JAIIB and CAIIB gives out both monetary and non-monetary incentives to its candidates.

For example, candidates who have cleared these examinations are entitled to some special incentives, salary increments, and sometimes promotions. Most importantly, they help in gaining information and the knowledge required to excel in this field.

They are both a distant learning initiative of IIBF, making it more accessible and convenient for the candidates.
